Professional Development Training Modules for Educators

Professional development training modules offer a comprehensive approach to enhancing educator’s skills and knowledge in a range of child-related topics.

​

Training modules include a variety of materials:

  • 20+ hours of training modules in child related topics (e.g., communication, behaviour, sensory integration, inclusion etc.)

  • Each training module is accompanied by a questionnaire to assess educators understanding and application of the content, reinforcing their learning outcomes. The issuance of certificates upon completion of the training modules provides recognition for educator’s commitment to professional development

  • Most training modules are supported by additional resources

    • Letter to families related to training module content

    • Pre and post screening checklists for educators

    • Developmental checklists for parents/guardians

    • Posters and flyers to place in the Education and Care Service

    • Resources to support training module content

    • Downloadable documents to support training content

​Community Support

​

​The Community Support component, provided through access to the Inspire Kids Hub Facebook page, offers educators a platform for ongoing engagement and support. From updates and news to professional development opportunities, networking, and community building, this platform fosters a sense of belonging and shared learning among educators.​

Coaching (in person)

​

The inclusion of in-person coaching sessions allows educators to receive individualised and specialised support in the moment.

  • Educators have access to

    • Minimum of 2 hours

    • Individual or group specialised support

  • Educators can

    • Learn techniques, interventions, and approaches to support the diverse needs of children

    • Develop confidence and competency in meeting the needs of all children

  • Consultants can

    • Observe classroom dynamics, assess teaching methods, and provide targeted feedback and guidance

    • Provide strategies tailored to the specific needs of students

    • Provide supports based on unique challenges and goals of educators

    • Assist educators in brainstorming and problem-solving solutions for challenging situations

    • Observe specific children and provide support recommendations

    • Provide a lasting impact on educator’s professional practice

Mentoring (online)

The inclusion of mentoring services online, further extends educator’s access to personalised support and professional development opportunities.

Educators can access

​

  • Online live and recorded group workshops (predetermined and scheduled throughout the year)

  • Online 1:1 individualised, or group mentoring supports

Education and Care Service owners and educators can purchase

  • Educational resources and supplies

  • Curriculum based resources and programs

Children Support Services

​

Inspire Kids Hub offers support services to Education and Care Services and/or individual families at an additional cost for centres or families​

  • Assessment

    • Including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Psychology

  • Telehealth

  • Rural and Remote Services

  • Online Therapy Bundles and Packs

  • Resource development

  • Assistance with funding support applications (NDIS)

  • Diagnostic Services

    • Including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Impairment)
